Acupuncture may reduce anxiety in pregnant women

The objective of this study was to identify effects of auriculotherapy to reduce the anxiety of pregnant women during the low-risk prenatal. Findings showed significant reduction of anxiety status in the experimental group suggesting that this practice is a potential therapy belonging to the integrative and complementary practice – ICP, and this is should be incorporated to the activities of health practice to women during the pregnancy.
